GIET LIBRARY

Central Library occupies a place of pride in GIET and is an essential component of the institute's outstanding research and education mission. It is a most lively place on the campus providing a safe, comfortable and friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge, and promotes discovery and scholarship. The mission of the Central Library is to facilitate creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge resources and providing for value added services. The library system consists of Central Library and 16 departmental libraries, which collectively support the teaching, research and extension programs of the institute. All students, faculty members and employees of the Institute are permitted to make use of library facilities. The library has a huge collection of books on Engineering, Management, Science and Humanities offers library services through its various divisions. In Duplex Central Library with a carpet area of 6000 Sq.ft. with Digital facility, Web OPAC and NEWGENLIB is functioning from 8.00 AM to 5.00 PM on all working days and 8.00AM to 8.00 PM on all holidays, including Sundays.To know more about giet library click here.
